Create a card template

A card template controls the loyalty mechanics, signup form, design, and wallet pass customers receive.

Before you start

Decide what the card should do:

GoalCard type
Give a reward after a number of visitsStamp card
Award points from spend or visitsPoints card
Share a single discount or offerCoupon card
Sell or manage member accessMembership card

The card type cannot be changed after the card is created, so choose the mechanic first.

Steps

  1. Open Cards Manager.
  2. Select Create Card.
  3. Choose a card type.
  4. Add the card name and description.
  5. Upload the logo and card images.
  6. Set the reward mechanics.
  7. Choose the signup form fields.
  8. Edit the wallet display fields.
  9. Check the Apple Wallet and Google Wallet preview.
  10. Save the template.

Before sharing

Open the join link on your phone and install a test pass. Make sure the reward text, colors, customer fields, and scanner behavior match what your staff will explain to customers.
