What payment config is for
Payment config connects the business setup needed to collect customer payments for membership cards. This is separate from paying for your Carrott plan.
Before you start
Make sure you know:
- Who receives customer membership payments
- Which business or account owns the payout account
- What membership tiers you want to sell
- Whether prices are monthly, yearly, or both
Steps
- Open the relevant business workspace.
- Go to the billing or payment configuration area.
- Start payment setup.
- Complete the required business and payout details.
- Save the configuration.
- Return to the membership card template.
- Test the paid join flow.
After setup
Create or edit a membership card and add paid tiers. Customers joining a paid tier may be sent through checkout before the pass is issued or activated.
Test before launch
Use a test membership tier or internal customer before sharing the join link publicly. Confirm checkout, wallet install, membership tier display, and scanner verification.
If checkout is unavailable
Check that payment setup is complete, the membership tier has a price, and the card is published.
