How stamp cards work

A customer earns stamps when staff scan their pass and add progress. Once the customer reaches the required number of stamps, they qualify for the reward you defined.

Example: collect 9 stamps and get the 10th coffee free.

Main settings

SettingWhat it controls
Stamps requiredHow many stamps are needed for the main reward.
Reward descriptionWhat the customer earns.
Reward typeA single reward or staggered milestone rewards.
Milestone iconsOptional active and inactive icons for progress.

Single reward

Use a single reward when customers should receive one reward at the end of the card.

Good for:

  • Buy 9, get 1 free
  • Visit 5 times, get a free item
  • Complete 10 classes, get a discount

Staggered rewards

Use staggered rewards when customers should unlock smaller rewards before the final goal.

Example:

StampsReward
3Free topping
6Half-price drink
9Free drink

Each milestone should have a clear threshold and reward description.

Scanner behavior

Staff scan the pass and add stamps. If advanced earning limits are enabled, staff may be blocked from adding too many stamps too quickly or without the required transaction details.

Best practice

Keep the reward simple enough for staff to explain in one sentence. Stamp cards work best when the customer can instantly understand the goal.
