What broadcasts are for

Broadcasts are best for short, timely messages such as:

  • New reward announcements
  • Limited-time offers
  • Event reminders
  • Schedule changes
  • Important loyalty updates

Steps

  1. Open Broadcast.
  2. Choose the card template.
  3. Write the title and message.
  4. Review the notification preview.
  5. Check the estimated audience reach.
  6. Choose Send now or schedule for later.
  7. Confirm the broadcast.

Audience reach

Carrott shows how many cards may be eligible across Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Actual delivery can depend on wallet support, device settings, and rate limits.

Draft carefully

Wallet notifications should be short and useful. Put the main reason to act in the first sentence.

Good examples:

  • Double points today: Earn 2x points until 6pm.
  • Your reward is ready: Show your pass in store to redeem.
  • New weekend perk: Members get a free upgrade this Saturday.

Before sending

If the selected card has unpublished changes, review them first. Some broadcasts can refresh wallet passes, which may make recent card changes visible to customers.
