Card expiration

Choose how long the card should stay valid.

Expiration type	Use when
Never expires	The loyalty program should stay active indefinitely.
Fixed date	The card ends on a specific date.
After issue	Each customer's card expires a set time after they join.

Earning rules

Earning rules help prevent mistakes or abuse.

Common options include:

Cooldown between earning events
Daily earning limit
Maximum per scan or transaction
Minimum spend requirement

Scanner requirements

Some cards can require staff to enter a transaction amount before awarding progress. This is especially useful for spend-based points cards or offers with minimum purchase rules.

Terms and conditions

Use terms to explain important customer-facing rules, such as:

How rewards are earned
What is excluded
Expiration or blackout dates
Refund or cancellation rules
Membership renewal terms

Best practice

Use advanced settings to make the card safer and clearer, not more complicated. If staff cannot explain a rule quickly, simplify it before launch.
