How points cards work

Customers earn points from either spend or visits. They can then unlock reward tiers when they reach the required point amount.

Earning methods

Spend-based points

Use spend-based points when customers should earn more for larger purchases. Staff may need to enter the transaction amount in the Scanner before points can be awarded.

Example: earn 1 point per Β£1 spent.

Visit-based points

Use visit-based points when each visit should earn the same amount.

Example: earn 10 points per visit.

Reward tiers

Reward tiers define what customers can redeem.

Best practice
